Looking for a student or young professional (male or female) to share a wonderful apatment located a few doors down from Tompkins Square Park on 9th Street in the East Village (between 1st and Avenue A). Large, bright room for rent in a two bedroom share on the second floor on a walk-up. Modern kitchen, dishwasher, re-modeled floors and bathroom with laundry facilities in the basement. Option to take over the lease completely in August when I move out. Heat and hot water are included. Utilities run around $40 a month, with TV and internet extra. I'm a very easy-going roommate, but please be able to clean up after yourself, and also share general cleaning duties (floors, bathroom etcetc the normal stuff) and communicate about the apartment-related issues. If you like playing loud music at night (during the day not a problem generally) or having lots of parties, this is not the place for you (I'm still in school and study frequently). I'm also getting a cat, so if you have allergies please do not respond. Full disclosure: The total rent for the apartment is $2300, the room I am renting is the large bedroom, and I live in the tiny 6x10 room thus the difference in rent. If you have a problem with this, please don't respond. Living in the East Village cannot be beat the bars, restaurants, and culture in the area are amazing. If you're interested in taking a look at the place and having a chat please send me an e-mail with a bit about yourself and when you are free. Thanks for your time and good luck in your housing search! -BaileyAVAILABLE: Now; I'M LOOKING FOR: Male/Female; ARE SMOKERS ALLOWED: Maybe; ARE PETS ALLOWED: No; ARE FURNISHED: No ARE SECURITY DEPOSIT: No read more »
