It’s a good-sized house with two kitchens, one on the first floor and the other on the third. The Victorian house (over 6000 sq. ft. of space), is located in the historic Overbrook Farms section of Philadelphia. The house is one and a half blocks from the Overbrook train station – (Septa R-5 line) one stop to center city and a short ride the other way to Merion, Ardmore, Bryn Mawr, Haverford College & Villanova University and minutes from other major colleges and universities (University of Pennsylvania, Drexel, Temple, etc.) . The bus stop is just down the street by City Line Avenue (Route 1). The house is within walking distance to St. Joseph’s University and Phila College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). It takes about 10 minutes by train or car to get into center city. The rent is $750 and includes all utilities (such as gas, electric and water.) I do require security rent of $750 to be paid at time you take the room as well as the first months rent (therefore, move in cost is $1,500) I will consider short (no less then six months) or long term rental.
