About us: We're both 28 y.o. women, laid back, responsible, work full time. Steph works as a case worker for the Dept. of Mental Health. I (Tara) work at a Sleep Clinic doing admin work. We like to cook, listen to music and getting sucked into horrible reality tv shows :)
Potential roomie: we would prefer another female +/- a couple of years. Definitely someone over 26, please. Financially responsible, laid back, would like to hang out sometime. We're not looking for someone who parties all the time. Dinner parties are good. The occasional party, okay but not someone who brings the party home, please. This first floor Hemenway apartment has two shared bedrooms, one full bathroom, two hall closets, a kitchen, and large living room. The subletted room would be shared with a female NU junior. The room is large enough for two full beds (with ample space between the two) and has a walk-in closet. Though it is on the first floor, you are not located directly on the ground. The windows look out onto the Symphony flower gardens. The entire apartment is hardwood floors throughout. I am looking to sublet from Jan 09 - Aug 09 and would like get someone interested ASAP. I would also be able to give a tour if you would like. I say the room is available Jan 09, but if interested, I will have most of my stuff out of the apartment within the first two weeks of December, so you can start moving things in around then if you would like. Laundry is located in the basement of the building. The kitchen has a microwave, toaster, gas stove, and fridge. The living room is very spacious, as is the entire apartment (INCLUDING BEDROOMS!).
The three girls living here are Northeastern students and the apartment is located one street over from the campus, in between two T stops on the E line (Symphony and Northeastern). I am a 21 year old female. working full time and going to grad school full time. I have been looking at places all week and will make a decision on a place on friday. I am looking to be in the medford/somerville area, or if that doesnt work out, allston/brighton/brookline area. I have been looking at 3 and 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Pricing is more than reasonable, probably between 600 and 800 per person. Rooms are all large enough for queen size bed and other furniture.
I am looking for roommates that have similar habits. Keep the place clean (dont care what your room looks like, but common areas, esp. kitchen and bathroom need to be clean). Respectful of eachother. NO DRAMA NO STRESS. I like a mellow relaxing living environment - low maintenance roommates that are responsible and self-sufficient.
