About the apartment: The room will be available 9/01. 1 bedroom with private bath available in a 3 bedroom, 2 bath apartment in Palms. It's the upstairs, front unit in a four unit building. There is tons of natural light. It's in a quiet neighborhood off Venice and Overland. It's within walking distance to various markets and restaurants. It's less than 5 miles from Venice beach and there's easy access to the 10 and 405 freeways. There is a tandem parking space available. Rent is $700, deposit is $700, and there is a $25 application fee.
About us: We're 26 and 28 year old, professional females (we work in admin in education and music, respectively). We're both very interested in the arts. We've been friends since college, but we're very laid back and can be pretty goofy.
About you: Male or female between 23 and 34. You must be a professional with steady employment. Your yearly income needs to be at least $36,000 in order to qualify with the management company. It's also imperative that you have at least 12 months of credit history. The management company will not allow you on the lease with out it. No ifs, ands, or buts. (We've tried.) Either a non-smoker, or smoke outside. No pets, management doesn't allow them, and one of us is allergic :( We don't mind having the occasional guest over, but we're not looking to have people over every night (or even every other night). And, of course, be respectful, responsible, and clean. |
