Searching for roommate (no gender preference) to fill vacant bedroom (available end of Aug. or Sept.) left behind by my current roommate who will be moving in with his girlfriend. The vacant bedroom includes a large closet, and four large windows overlooking the zoo. Individual ac units are in every room making the apartment comfortable temperature wise. The whole apartment has 11 ft. ceilings and is surrounded on all sides by large windows providing an exceptional outside view. The bathroom is the ideal size for two to share. Kitchen has been renovated and includes dishwasher. Preferred roommate is a clean and out-going young professional or graduate student who likes to have a good time and is down to earth.
Water is included in the utilities bill, but we are responsible for cable, electric and gas (comes out to around $80 per person monthly). Laundry room is in the basement of our building complete with modern-day washers and dryers. Workout room is located in the building right beside ours, which we have access to, and includes treadmills, free weights, and nautilus machines.
We live on the fifth floor of our building (top story), which means we are only a flight of stairs away from our huge rooftop, which has an exceptional panoramic view of Washington DC.
As far as the neighborhood goes, it really doesn’t get better than our location. We are two blocks from the Woodley Park-Adams Morgan Metro (Red Line), CVS, and numerous restaurants. I will email pictures. |
