I am a 26 year old male looking to share my recent 3 br/2 ba home purchase in Grant Park. I’m a very easy-going person who’s equally comfortable spending the day outdoors or on the couch. I work in consulting so I’m typically out of town 3 nights a week which means my roommate would have the house to themselves 50% of the time. I am looking for a respectful, clean, and financially stable roommate (straight male or female).
For $800 I’m offering a large bedroom with 2 large windows, hardwood floors, 2 large closets, and full bathroom across the hall. Roommate would have to provide own furniture. The third bedroom is an office that I’d be happy to share. The home has plenty of street parking available, is located on a very safe and friendly street, and is in walking distance to Grant Park and Cabbagetown. There’s a nice outdoor patio area in the backyard that’s great for entertaining friends as well as a great front porch to sit on while the neighbors stroll by. I have high-end appliances throughout including a washer and dryer, a great LCD HDTV that gets plenty of use during football season, high-speed wireless internet, security system, and a land-line.
I don’t currently own any pets, but am open to a roommate who has dogs on a case-by-case basis. I do not smoke and will not let out a room to someone who does. Roommate would be expected to cover half of the utilities which include electricity, water, gas, and trash removal.
