I am a student at UNO majoring in Secondary Education. I also have two part-time jobs and will be starting a third after the summer. My parents own the house, so most of the rules will be coming from them. Rent will be sent to them personally. The utilities will be given to me at the beginning of every month to pay for the previous month. The price to move in is $1500 ($500 deposit, and the first and last months rent). There is another bedroom available, so I can take up to two people. I have a boyfriend who visits occasionally on weeknights and rarely stays overnight. I do stay overnight at his place every once-in-a-while, but because of the distance apart from one another it is rare. One rule my parents have given me is no overnight visitors. The only reason why they allow, Matt, my boyfriend, is because they've known him for over two years now. Obviously, if we do have get-togethers at the house people will be staying overnight, but it should not be a regular thing. I'm by far not the neatest person in the world, but I try to pick up after myself. I would expect my roommate to be the same. The usual, place dishes in dishwasher immediately, and turn it on when full. I know I cannot regulate this, but please try to keep the bedroom and bathroom as clean (not neat) as possible. My parents will be selling this house after I move out in about 3 years. I know this is lengthy, and I am sorry.
