A fellow college student would be ideal, but I wouldn't exclude non-students. The apartment is partially furnished (pretty much everything other than your bedroom), and your bedroom is a good size. Location - a mere two blocks from the heart of Dinkytown, and the ability able to walk to class every day all make for quite the incentives to live in this little cozy college student den.
My only requirement is cleanliness, as I’m very finicky about this. I’m okay with being messy on occasion, I mean, who isn’t occasionally mess? But messiness bordering on filthy and clutter is never okay. (Note: this excludes our bedrooms. Our bedrooms are our own private areas, and can be as cluttered as you can stand. Not dirty, though, i.e. dirty dishes strewn about)
Pets: I have four small parrots in my room, two cockatiels and two conures, and they can be intermittently noisy during the day time hours (I always have my bedroom door closed, so it’s rarely too bothersome.) They’re extremely adorable, highly personable little sweethearts, and I clean obsessively behind them, so there won’t be any additional mess for anyone other than me at all. Now, the lease does exclude pets (I okayed my birds with the landlord), but I’m sure a small kitten or bunny rabbit would be okay, too. We can discuss pets.
Addendum: currently, light smoking IS allowed in the living room alone, only because it’s been so nasty outside, and it’s well ventilated with an air purifier and windows.
