I have a huge 1-bedroom apartment and I'm looking to find a new roommate to live in the bedroom and I'd live in the common area (which would be sectioned off like another room). The bedroom itself is huge, with high ceilings and plenty of room for a big bed, desk, couch, and even a table. The apartment has 1 1/2 bathrooms, so we'd only need to share the shower. The bedroom also has 2 huge closets. The apartment is located at 50 W 34th street (at 6th Ave). It's a very nice building with a 24-hour front desk. There's a laundry room on the floor, dry cleaner downstairs, and a New York Sports Club on the top floor. Move in date is any time on or after June 1st. Rent is $1500/mo, plus $100 for utilities. No drugs, smoking or pets in the apt.
A little about me: I'm a 24 year-old female and am looking to room with another recent college graduate. I graduated in 2005 from Columbia University and I have a full-time job in finance. I am clean, considerate, laid-back and responsible and am looking for the same qualities in a roommate. I have a lot of friends, but it would be great to be friends with my roommate as well. Thanks for reading, and if you are interested, please email me at newyorkapt1234 at gmail dot com and I'd be happy to share more information with you. If not, then best of luck apartment hunting!
