Since moving where I am now (Mt. Tabor) I have gotten a full-time job at St. Vincent Hospital. I would like to move (at least a little bit) closer to there! I am flexible and laid back; need a home share with roommate (s) that are communicative and respectful. I would not do well with a 'neat-freak' but am very good about cleaning up after myself and helping with needed chores around the house and garden.
I don't necessarily need my own bathroom, but do need access to a tub. Since I am allergic to smoke, I cannot live with a smoker. I prefer an older home as opposed to an apartment complex. My kitty likes to wander out in the yard a bit, but is basically an indoor cat.
I have been in homeshare situations before that did not work out because the person living there wanted help with the rent and utlities, but basically did not want to see me or my belongings. I do not want that sort of arrangement; I do not wish to just 'hide out' in my room, and I would like to be able to place some of my art and other belongings in the common areas.
In other words, I wish to 'share a home' not just 'rent a room.' If this sounds like a good fit' for your situation, please contact me! I am flexible on move-in date. Would prefer a situation with utilities included in rent, or a set utility fee every month.
