I am looking for a room within walking distance of UPMC Presby or within walking distance of public transportation to take me there (or with a grad/med student or employee so we can carpool?). I am starting my PhD there in July, so my cat and I would like to move in sometime in June. My personal space is generally pretty messy, but I have no problem keeping common areas clean. I am a pretty relaxed and versatile person - I can live in a very studious environment or with a mild partier (as long as obnoxiously loud parties are weekly or less). The one thing I am intolerant of is... intolerance. I am not a religious person, but I am happy to live with anyone who respects my choice. I am completely new to the area, so I prefer to live with someone who knows their way around a bit. I am also an excellent cook and baker and am happy to cook for other people (in exchange for doing dishes of course ;P ). My cat is very loving and sociable, but he also likes to meow a lot when he doesn't get enough attention. He grew up with other cats and a large dog, so he *should* get along with other pets, but he is quite small and has been the only cat for about a year now. |
