I'm a 36 year old female professional looking for a female roommate to move in around Sept 1 (the site would only let me post up to 120 days) or possibly the last week of August. I live in a 1060 sq. ft 2-2 condo on the second floor in a gated condo complex. I would like to rent out the second bedroom. Room is approx. 11.5 x 11.5 with a normal size closet. You will have your own bathroom. The condo will be furnished except for the room for rent. This includes a dishwasher, washer and dryer in the condo. It will rent for $450 plus half the utilities (electricity/basic cable (willing to upgrade)/DSL internet). A $250 deposit will be required plus $40 for rental application. I'm only looking for a roommate for a year lease, 9 months minimum, preferably a grad student (UT shuttle just 1/2 block away) or professional. Someone who is easy going, tidy, responsible, and drama free. I'd like someone fun yet not someone who brings the party home with them on a regular basis. Fine with a social drinker but no drugs. Prefer a non-smoker. Someone who is a animal/cat person - I have two cats. Sorry, cannot have more than two pets there so you cannot have a pet. As for me, I'm easy going and can get along with alot of people. I like going to see live music or go hang out with friends at local bars. Although I do like to party on occassion, I rarely bring the party home with me. I like to watch TV/movies, and try to do fun things Austin has to offer. |
