I live in a 1700 sq foot house in South Austin. I have an extra room and I am looking for a responsible professional to rent to starting about mid to late September. I would prefer someone looking for somewhat long term, as I don't want to have to look for new roommates ever 6 months. I have a medium sized back yard in a quiet established neighborhood, a block away from a 200 acre wildlife preserve with tons of trails. I can get downtown in 15 minutes and north in 30 minutes in rush hour.
Rent will include the room and 1/2 of the garage, utilities, internet phone and cable, as well as house-keeper every two weeks.
I am a mostly quiet busy professional with a job and a private practice. I am not looking for romance here, so please look elsewhere if that is what you are wanting a roommate for. I have cats who are friendly to well behaved dogs (or at least tolerant). Personally I am liberal, social drinker, outdoorsy, opinionated and easy going. I am not a partier. |
