About the place:
- It's a house-turned-duplex in a suburban neighborhood, South Austin, not part of an apt. complex. Has it's own driveway, storage-y garage, bit of backyard, etc. Low-to-medium income area, but usually quiet, and safe. There's an elementary school literally right around the corner. Close to both I-35 and BenWhite/290, the Greenbelt is about 10 minutes away, same time for downtown.
- 9-month lease, at $480/month with a $200 deposit. That includes ALL utilities (electric, water, gas, garbage, etc. Also internet, cable, pest control, and lawn service).
- Move-in is available beginning of October.
- Small pets, like something in a cage in your room or possibly a cat, are ok, though you will have to work out a pet deposit with the landlord. He says no to large pets, though, and I would prefer no dogs (backyard isn't big enough for an all-outdoor one, and indoors I don't want to be bothered w/ a dog when you aren't around or I'm trying to work)
- The duplex-neighbors are two guys in late 20s/early 30s, both nice. They occassionally play really loud music, but turn it down if asked.
- Washer and dryer are in garage.
- Place includes: living room, kitchen, dining-area-turned-office (I work form home), my bedroom, bathroom, the available bedroom, closets, half the garage, and half the backyard. It's not a new house, or huge, but comfy.
- The available bedroom is completely unfurnished.
