I live in a 3/2 1900 sq ft house and am looking for a roommate to fill the master bedroom (17' x 14'). The room has its own private bathroom (7' x 7') and 2 large closets (each 6.25' x 2'). Plenty of windows and a view of the backyard and patio. The room is large enough to be shared and has been shared in the past by 2 Rice students--this room is IDEAL for students who want cheap rent and want the freedom of living off campus! Plus, furnishings can be provided without extra cost. The rest of the house is already furnished with a fully stocked kitchen and utilities room with a washer/dryer. Roomy study and living room! Garage space is available in the 2-car garage.
The house is a 15 minute drive or closer to all of these locations: the Med Center, West U, Rice University, Meyerland. A metro bus stop is closeby for those who are students like me.
Rent will be $650 for a 12-month lease and $700 for a 6-month lease. Or, if the room is shared, rent will only be $375 per person (for a 12-month lease; $400/person for a 6-month lease)! Utilities will be split among roommates.
I am a female medical student and my male roommate is a law student. We are in our 20s-30s--fun, clean, and easy to get along with. Looking for someone with a similar personality for the vacant 3rd room!
