Don't want to live in an apartment complex? Want to come home to a lovely unique house? This is the home for you. It is a two year old Craftsman style designed with renters in mind. We're a couple of teachers, now empty nesters and rent three upstairs rooms. Our master bedroom is down so there is good noise and privacy separation. We are progressives, recyclers and grow much of our own produce. Lovely pastoral setting with patio, gardens and horses in back yard. Our other renters are professional men in. After two years our third renter has gotten married so we have the best room for rent. The house is situated on a private paved road, just a few blocks south of the Woodinville-Duvall road. We are one and a half miles from the Microsoft shuttle stop, 9 minutes to Cascadia CC and Bothell UW. We have air conditioning and on-demand hot water. Renters are welcome to respectfully use the laundry, loft TV room and kitchen. We have off street parking for one car (no big truck). Comcast cable and internet and telephone (no long distance charges in the US) and all utilities are included in the rent. The owner is a reserve police officer. We don't want any drug use, smoking, parties or heavy drinking. Small caged pets only. Three cats are in residence but not allowed the run of the home. The house is not child safe so we're looking for someone who would not be having children visit. No overnight guests unless approved. The room available is 11 by 14 and has a private bath and large closet. Our four grown children visit often and one is gay so you should be gay friendly A large library is available near the huge window-seat on our landing for your enjoyment. |
